Patient records study showed lack of physician adherence to treatment guidelines
 

Situation:
Often our clients do not know the degree to which physicians adhere to recommended treatment guidelines even when their company’s product would benefit from such adherence.  We provide accurate metrics on guideline adherence and the driving factors for following protocols, as shown in this de-identified study of 5 nations (certain outputs and labels also were altered to protect client confidentiality).  In the case study below, we found that although physicians reported they usually followed guidelines, actual chart data revealed underusage of the recommended treatment.  To learn what another Clarity Pharma study showed about adherence to treatment guidelines for a disease, click the abstract link here.
